Who we are
MAD WORLD is a hopping arcade game made by SYHU Studio and published by SYHU (“we”). This policy explains what the game does with information when you play it on iPhone and iPad, on Android or on the web.
What the game stores
To remember your game between sessions, MAD WORLD saves a few values in the app's own storage on your device:
- your Root Coins, best score and the characters you have unlocked or picked;
- your settings, such as sound on or off and the graphics quality;
- when you last opened the free gift, so the next one can count down, and that you have had the welcome gift.
These values never leave your device. We cannot see them, and they are not linked to your name, email or any account. Uninstalling the game or clearing its data deletes them.
What the game does not do
- It does not ask for your name, email, location, contacts, photos, camera or microphone.
- It does not use analytics, tracking or advertising identifiers, and it does not track you across other apps or websites.
- It does not show ads.
- It does not send your game data to us or to anyone else.
The Android app has the standard internet permission that its game engine includes, but the game itself runs entirely from files inside the app.
In-app purchases
The special heroes can be bought in the game through the store your device uses: Google Play on Android, the App Store on iPhone and iPad. The payment is handled entirely by that store, under its own terms and privacy policy (Google, Apple): the game never sees your payment details, name or email. The game only asks the store which items you have bought, so that it can unlock them, including on a new phone with the same Google account or Apple ID, and it stores that list on your device like the rest of your progress.
Children
The game does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.
Future changes
A later version may add rewarded ads (through Google AdMob). If it does, that service handles its own data under Google's policies, and we will update this page and its date before that version is released.
